For me a hire vehicle is a must on Samos, preferably a jeep. In order to see 100%  of the island you need to get off of the normal roads and onto the beaten tracks (see map & photographs). Most of the photographs that are incprporated in this web site would never have been without hiring a Jeep to get to the locations to be able to take them. There are numerous hire firms on the Island and over the years we have shopped around and used - Landscape Photograph Album. Over the years and on our travels around the Island we have come across various scenic views made possible through hiring a vehicle. Even now as we return each year new views appear to be photographed. Samos Cats. The famous Samos Cats are in abundance on the Island with most of them living wild.
